	O termo paralaxe tem origem no grego parállaxis que significa mudança. 
De uso frequente no contexto científico, refere-se à diferença aparente na localização de um objeto a partir de pontos distintos de observação. Uma palavra que denuncia a falha no rigor da perceção autocentrada e estanque e que, por isso, se estabelece enquanto sistema métrico pela triangulação, cruzamento e análise da mesma coisa a partir de diferentes pontos de vista. 

	É desse modo que Paralaxe pretende estabelecer-se enquanto observatório de investigação em arte pela prática artística, cruzando metodologias e disciplinas. Desde 2019, Paralaxe tem criado projetos que ocupam territórios aparentemente alheios à criação artística para lhe trazer outros pontos de leitura e potenciar novos discursos.

Boca Aberta pesquisa a relação entre arte e
comida, explorando o ato de cozinhar e comer como prática artística e social.
Propõe uma reflexão sobre o fazer em
arte e a alimentação como linguagem,
gesto e ferramenta política. Através de
encontros, partilhas e experimentação
de diversos autores, Boca Aberta
mapeia como se tem alimentado a criação contemporânea e de que
forma participa na construção de
realidades e novos modos de estar
e fazer em coletivo.

	Primeiro Fascículo2021 - 2022

Projeto de criação editorial independente, de artistas em diálogo com artistas, que pretende mapear, sinalizar, editar e difundir a produção artística emergente e independente no contexto das artes plásticas, na região do Porto. O intuito de mergulhar na prática e processo individual de atelier, parte de uma vontade de reconhecer o território artístico e as práticas singulares, permitindo a sua difusão dentro do meio cultural.As edições envolvem as artistas que formam o coletivo Paralaxe, num processo colaborativo permanente de criação gráfica e reflexão, partindo de encontros com os artistas que integram cada um dos fascículos. Observatório Astronómico2021 - 2022

Com uma estrutura mais complexa, em 2022 o Paralaxe sediou-se no Observatório Astronómico Prof. Manuel de Barros (Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal).Num dos pontos mais altos da cidade, o Observatório Astronómico determinava o tempo exato para acerto dos relógios da região. Hoje, este instituto serve de sede para investigações remotas ou experiências de campo, estanto os instrumentos e edifícios outrora essenciais ao serviço do ensino e museologia. Se o Círculo Meridiano de Espelhos continua a ser um ex-líbris pela sua cúpula e estrutura, o Telescópio 30’ brilha com sua arquitetura de ainda único telescópio óptico em Portugal e a Torre destaca-se na sua dinâmica central no campo que se estende, a verdade é que todos eles ali permanecem obsoletos olhando os satélites.

Instituto Geofísico2020 - 2021

Entre 2020 e 2021, o projeto Paralaxe sediou-se no Instituto Geofísico da Universidade do Porto (IGUP, Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal). Localizado na margem do rio Douro para um maior isolamento das interferências e vibrações da cidade, o IGUP funciona como pólo de recolha de dados meteorológicos, sismológicos, magnéticos, radiométricos e fenológicos. O edifício central tem áreas de arquivo onde se guardam antigos sismogramas e cadernos de registo meteorológico, além de um terraço no topo que dá acesso aos anemómetros (para medição do vento). No espaço exterior encontra-se um jardim fenológico, para observação de variações climáticas, uma estação meteorológica, onde estão sensores do IPMA, e os pilares de suporte dos instrumentos analógicos de medição. A Recoletora é a prática artística e pedagógica do artista visual Alexandre Delmar e da designer Maria Ruivo, dedicada ao estudo dos lugares de reciprocidade e interação entre as comunidades humanas e as vegetais. No seu trabalho, a dupla alia uma ação contínua de pesquisa, inventariação e mapeamento das plantas espontâneas comestíveis e medicinais ao resgate de conhecimentos ancestrais e contemporâneos, numa lógica didática que propõe uma redescoberta da cidade através da recoleção e da deambulação pelos territórios do baldio urbano. Explora temáticas relacionadas com a autonomia alimentar, a recoleção, o herbalismo, o saber-fazer, a paisagem, a memória, a etnobotânica e a literacia ecológica, promovendo ações colaborativas como cartografias, caminhadas guiadas, workshops, refeições, conversas, instalações comestíveis, exposições e publicações.

Julia Ribeiro (São Paulo, 1985) é formada em Arquitetura, fez o Curso Avançado de Artes Visuais no Ar.Co e MA Food &#38;amp; Art com The Gramounce. A partir de imagens de arquivo e livros de receitas antigos, seu trabalho faz pontes entre diferentes dimensões do espaço, do tempo e da alimentação. Trabalhou na Cozinha Popular da Mouraria, facilitando workshops. Faz parte da mercearia cooperativa Rizoma e da&#38;nbsp; Associação Alimentar Cidades Sustentáveis.

Pedro Brito (Oeiras, 1993) formou-se em Artes Plásticas pela ESAD Caldas da Rainha onde se focou maioritariamente no desenho. Em 2020 iniciou o projecto Cracked Bolos em que cria bolos escultóricos que exploram o potencial plástico do frosting e desenvolvendo uma linguagem reconhecível, explorando um imaginário com base nos temas escolhidos pelos clientes. Tem desenvolvido uma prática de performance que apresenta em residência artística, explorando os temas de objecto artístico efémero, memória, kitsch, celebração e ritual.

Eu odeio comida.


Mas como ser humano, igual a qualquer um de vós, tenho fome e as dores da fome são ainda mais odiáveis que a sua solução: comida. Não gosto de parar para comer, não gosto de cozinhar, não gosto de nenhum prato em particular. Não me importava que pudessemos ser atestados como veículos, com uma qualquer pasta de sabor minimamente agradável ou, até, uma infusão inodora, insípida, incolor. Indolor.
Nem sempre foi assim. Cresci entre refeições familiares com cordilheiras de puré de onde vertia molho para as almôndegas e coleções de brindes do Happy Meal. Fui educada com manhãs na cozinha em produção massiva de rissóis de carne e tardes de supermercado. E apesar de viver rodeada de opções, a única que me fazia feliz era a doçaria, as sobremesas, os gelados — se hoje odeio comida de uma forma geral, é porque essa alegria derreteu.


Eu odeio comida, porque a comida — vem-me à cabeça uma massa porosa, laminada a cobre — absorve tudo bastante bem, até os problemas. O prato de raia de pitau absorveu as discussões ao almoço de sábado. A bavaroise de morango absorveu o segredo de não ser caseira. Os panados de frango com arroz de tomate absorveram gritos de quarta à noite e os bombons o choro escondido debaixo da mesa. O gelado de chocolate absorveu os olhares do meu pai e, mais tarde, os comentários e ralhetes que soavam a facas nas mãos de um amolador.


Os gelados não podiam ser aqueles, não podiam ser tão grandes; as doses e os pratos eram demasiado; a menina não pode escolher o que comer; vê lá o que é que lhe dás; as pernas dela estão gordas, os pés estão tortos.


A verdade é que, se juntarem na mesma tigela um ácido cítrico — por exemplo, o sumo de uma ou duas laranjas — e bicarbonato de sódio — ideal para aliviar a má digestão, amaciar a carne ou eliminar manchas difíceis — o resultado será uma reação química efervescente. Por isso, o gosto pela comida não crescia, nunca cresceu. Tudo era absorvido, cada vez melhor: as palavras enfiavam-se no bife e na lasanha, algumas eram grandes e ásperas misturadas no arroz com as ervilhas. Mesmo as cordilheiras de puré deixavam de ser uma brincadeira bonita e davam lugar às dores de barriga, a todas as refeições.


Os pequenos prazeres passaram a ser segredo, um segredo só nosso, uma nova versão de malícia. O bicarbonato de sódio, afinal, também é um ótimo fermento para fazer crescer os bolos, em silêncio. Éramos nós contra o mundo, um chocolate para acalmar a nódoa negra e um shhhhh.


Todas as cinquenta e duas semanas do ano tinham notas de canela adocicada e azedos de vinagre. Tenho a certeza que as vossas semanas tinham também diferentes sabores com os quais lutavam, mas espero que poucos lutassem contra os sabores. Adorava a música do cuco, que finalmente podia decidir o que não comer, viesse o pau ou as chamas. 


De todas as minhas semanas, uma guardava o dia. O dia esperando entre trezentos e sessenta e quatro outros, com fintas de enjoos, conforto calado ou horas de culpa. O dia celebrado, impermeável. O dia em que eu podia comer o que eu amava, aceite sem reprimendas, à frente de todos, finalmente.

Carolina Grilo Santos (Aveiro,1993) vive e trabalha no Porto. É artista plástica, produtora cultural e co-fundadora o projeto Paralaxe. Tem vindo a explorar o cruzamento da prática artística com conceitos e linguagens científicas sob um ponto de vista especulativo e poético. Já expôs em espaços como Casa Encendida, Sala Picnic e Aragón Park (Madrid), Galeria Nuno Centeno (Porto), CCVF (Guimarães) e Fórum Arte Braga. Destacam-se o Prémio Pedro Fortes para Melhor Primeiro Filme Português na Secção Verdes Anos do DocLisboa, em 2023, com a sua curta metragem by division and differentiation; a participação na exposição coletiva Devenir Isla - Inéditos 2022, com curadoria de Aina Pomar Cloquell para a Casa Encendida, Madrid; e aquisição, em 2023, pela Coleção de Arte Contemporânea da Galeria Municipal do Porto.
